Welcome to NSSB!!!!

It was good to see so many people remember that we were meeting at North Salem State Bank this month.  One could tell who went to Mayberry first.  Either way we were glad to have some more space in the community room at NSSB.

Our new President Greg, kicked off the meeting with recognition for Bob Pearcy for all of this work over the years for the Danville Rotary Club.  Thank you again Bob.

Past President Rex had some human maniquins showing off the Golf shirts that we would like to get on order for Rotarians.  They are $35 each (this includes shipping) and are very stylish.  We will be taking orders for one more week next week.  There will be a sign up sheet going around next week for you to place your order.  There are Golf style shirts for guys or the open collar style for women. For more information, follow this link. Greg is wearing one of the shirts here in this picture.

Greg shared some of the goals for the club during the program portion of the meeting.  These goals include:  4 new members for the year, more than 7 Rotarians attending the District Conference on Oct. 26th, Bring Vocation back into Rotary, and working with the other 3 Rotary Clubs in the county.

Announcements:
The Board of directors approved at the board meeting to cover the cost for registration and one nights stay at the the Union Club at Purdue University for any Rotarians wishing to attend the District Conference.  They also approved to cover the cost of registration for any club members who would like to attend RLI (Rotary Leadership Institute) on AUG. 25th.

There are still spots available for the bus trip to Conner Prairie to see Don McLean's American Pie.  This is a great trip and a great way to get to know some of your fellow Rotarians a little bit better.  You can express your interest or any questions to Terry Kessinger.  Just click on his name to send him an e-mail.

LHC Golf outing on July 10th.

Please sign up for a date to be the program chair.  The list will be going around this week and then weeks will be assigned to each Rotarian.

Have Fun!!!! I know I will.  See you in two weeks.  Greg
